This good boy is around 10 years old now…. And is slow climbing stairs of a sudden. He’s spry and seemingly still athletic otherwise, and still races back down…. Just the up. He might have a bit of a limp in one of his hind legs, but not consistent. Ideas? Does that sound like an injury? Does that just sound like he’s getting older? Honestly not completely sure how sudden it was; it could have been that I finally noticed.

Going to give him a few more days and see if he returns to his normal self before scheduling a vet visit, but am a little skeptical re: what they might do.
    focus.

Limit his activities for awhile (like a week) and see if that helps. My guys have gone from 3 mile a day walks down to maybe 10 blocks after 10 years with me.

Sent that pic, or actually sent him?

If it's the latter, I don't see him going back.
