Congrats to Trumpet the bloodhound. My bloodhound is an evil bitch, but he looks like a good boy.

We got a Lab puppy 2 weeks ago, is there anything a lab won't try to put in its mouth? Lol. She's the sweetest, cuddliest little thing I've met in a long time. Click image for larger version.

If you have a lab, you need to remove all objects smaller than a Mack truck. Seriously. You've been warned.

We got lucky and our lab grew out of it after six months or so. Thatís not always the case. Make sure they have lots of good chew toys around that are more enticing than whatever else is around. (This is a mitigation tactic not a solution)

Whatís funny is how good Trumpet looks on all those photos. I donít have any normal looking photos of my hound running. Her face is too floppy.

LOL. No. Chew until two, shed until dead. The crate is your friend. I couldnít leave Rosie alone for more than 15 min. She ate part of a sofa AFTER a two hour walk.

Luckily, when she turned two, it was like switch turned off. She still loves to carry toys and stuff, but doesnít destroy anything.

Our deck gets too hot during the day. Evenings are nice though.
