Doggy skiing or biking carnage stories? Or is that a different thread?
Poias been good so far, but its inevitable. And I have lotsa stories from the past.
Also can we get some pics of dogs frowning, jesus, they all look so happy to be good dogs!

Added a new puppy to the mix as well. We had been going back and forth about getting a dog for some time. We ended up connecting with a rescue and getting a 4 month old puppy from Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. He is our “Wonder Dog” as in we wonder what mash up of breeds he is
. He definitely has Australian Shepherd, Akita and Husky in him, but not sure what else. He is definitely an Alpha Male in personality. Loves to go for hikes and rides in the truck. Girls love him- hard to believe we went so long without a pup. He has good taste in beer as well

Sploot dogs for the win!
Best thing for a puppy is being hiked, biked, and skied into the ground. They dont destroy anything afterwards. Left poia in the car after a little bike ride yesterday with an open bag of smart pop popcorn (that I shared w him on the way home) to go into the grocery store. Came out, and he hadn't moved a muscle.

We are fostering a mom and litter meet the Black Diamond pups. My Idea my wife picked the names if you are a Snowbird fan you might recognize Harpers Ferry (Harper), Flufffy Bunny (Bunny), and Wilbere Bowl (Wilbere). Mom is Primrose Path (Prim). The pups are rad mom is a spaz but super duper sweet. Dogs make me happy ticks dont holy shit we pulled about 50 off of prim and probably as many off the pups. #adoptdontshop

The comment about tired dogs being well-behaved is generally true. Our pomsky does best with plenty of exercise (ski photo from before the world stopped turning in March, FWIW; been more Nordic bc and hiking logging roads since, but he seems to enjoy all of the above). His older sister doesn't get out so much, but she's still pretty good at sleeping (even if her tongue tends to fall out).
