Much to my chagrin, this came home with the wife and kids from school yesterday.
Guess I'll dust off the training skills and train her up.

    Miller dog is like,
dafuq is she doing on my bed??

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Yesterday was the annual reunion for the rescue group we got Moira from. Unfortunately we had a wedding to attend and could only stay for a short time. Totally bummed out that we missed three of Moira's boys that arrived after we left: Johnny, Onyx (David) and Georgie (Patrick). Remember that they are the Schitt's Creek litter. Onyx (in the middle) obviously got his good looks from his momma. Funny that all of them have white feet.

Worried about my 16 y/o B.C., Connor. Second day in a row he’s had what I would call a “bad day” that ended in a mandatory bird bath — which stresses him out more than I want.

Then he rallies, flashes me those bright eyes, and takes a few spins around the house/yard (very slowly of course) before laying down and playing tug of war with every toy his 1 y/o great grand-nephew Shep brings him.

I know 16 is a hell of a run. And I also know he still has mostly good days. I just know our time is winding down and I really fucking hate that.

Shep even knows that he needs comfort after the hard times now and just lays near him while he lays in his bed.

    God bless these souls.

A vet check wouldn't hurt; might be something simple and easily remedied (hoping).

On the books for tomorrow. I'm noticing the old boy is drinking a lot of water now, which of course has led to more accidents. Last time I had a dog that started drinking a ton of water it was kidney failure. I'm trying not to let my mind run before knowing anything concrete.

Kidney failure can be managed up to a point, if caught early enough, but definitely not good. Fingers crossed for not that.

My dog Spider is actually pretty good in a canoe on flatwater. But that doesn't mean he likes it. I got this shot of his looking rather surly last weekend.

    Awesome shot.

Curious what type of dog this is? Looks similar to our Newfy/Golden mix we had.
