Having some fun during another isolation day. We didn't find any woodcock or grouse today, but anytime out working with my dog is better than most days.

GPS collar and ecollar with a bell. He's a big running dog just like I like him to be so the GPS collar is for safety if he goes on point and I'm unable to locate him as we're in heavy grouse woods cover. Bell is to be able to track him while he's moving and monitor his speed and activity. Ecollar is to help locate him when it is especially thick as it has a locate beeper. The shock part is only when we are in formal training.

Great thread! @smmokan - good for you taking Bo in! He looks awesome. I hope he gets adopted soon. “Senior” labs are great. We got ours at an estimated 6-7, and had him for 6 great years.

Anyone in Sacto/NorCal area I highly recommend Greater California German Shepherd Rescue and German Shepherd Rescue of Northern California. Lots of great dogs in need.

Nice. Looks familiar. What kind of ball is that? We usually pic up about 3 used soccer balls a month from the thrift store for $2 each. Tried volleyballs when we couldn’t’ find soccer balls. They don’t last more then a week
