No snow in sight and I’m OK with that.

Took the pup out to a mountain pass area that is new to me in order to scope it out for touring options come winter.

Olly doesn't like hot weather, but 39 degrees with spitting sleet, and sustained 20mph winds are the BEST! Rainbows don't hurt either.

While having a safety break a group of Elk decided to roll out of the trees apparently not seeing or smelling me and Olly. In all fairness, Olly didn't see them for a while either. They got within about 15 yards of us at which point Olly thought that was close enough and told them to bounce... in so many barks.

From there on out, Olly made sure to stay on better guard.

Did you move? Lol that is strange.

We went camping this weekend and of course the dogs came with us. Bet you can't guess which one causes more trouble.

Hilarious shots SA! Those pups are comedy.

Yeah, my backyard at 42 degrees north in Iowa. Several inches before it slowed up. Pretty crazy.

    Doggie stoke

Murphy’s favorite season. He can eat all the snow he wants, it’s nice and cool so he doesn’t over heat, no post-holing to hurt his old man joints, and he occasionally gets to serve his special purpose...although much less than in his younger years.

Meeko likes snow, but it turns out he's not a big fan of snow guns while they're running. Click image for larger version.
