    You talkin' about this dog?
Splitter, I have always adopted my dogs. I think Gunther escaped as a puppy, got hit by a car, broke his pelvis, but thankfully was rescued by Coastal GSD rescue and they got him fixed up and let me adopt him about 4 months later. And ya, I was thinking of that beautiful Black GSD.

We are wrapping up two weeks on the road in our camper. UT->WI->SD->UT. Safe to say the dogs have been digging it.

Yeah; I assumed that was a practice session, but perhaps a truly injured canine?

Casper the rescue sits like this. Sometime he is the sweetest dog ever. Other times he is a complete asshole and I give him empty threats that I'll take him back to the cages. He laughs since he knows he has me hooked in.

Casper and Oskar are cut from the same cloth. He is such a pain in the ass sometimes but also insists on being the biggest suck up when he wants to be.

I think the suck up is a heeler thing? I have not had a dog that can't social distance at all until Casper. That part of him I love.

Totally. Coming home to 2 heelers after working all day is like getting run over by a steamroller, with a tongue.

Although, if we are just hanging out sometimes Oskar will get up and leave the room to go to his bed or a different couch or something.

Prolly. Ours seem to have no in-between, it’s either playing, hunting mice etc., or laying on us.
