    Love this thread!!

I built. T-post and lightweight wire fence for my dog. About 1/5 acre. 6-foot tall fencing and 8-foot t-posts. Did it myself. Simply sloppy hand stretching. Our dog is not a jumper. If he was a jumper, I would have added wire/tubing extensions about the fencing like people do to keep deer out of their gardens.

i didn't think it would contain my bullheaded aussie esp if I were riding off-property (he was my shadow), but we've been pretty happy for 10yrs now with invisible fence & a 3rd dog now using it with good reliability

    worth it imho
(there are diy versions out there too [no idea on reliability/training])

Sam (rear) met up with sister Olive (front) at the weekend. First time they'd seen each other since February 2021 at 8 weeks old

This is after 90 straight minutes of chasing around and wrestling.

Thx. I like to think he is a good looking doggo. His name is Spider and he is not excessively tall. He is a fit 70 pounds and I would say of typical height for a dog of that weight. Here's a side profile from the same spot.
