Love that they immediately got along! My new pup can be super sweet to Walter one minute and a raging asshole the next. Walter just chilling in his Hawaiian shirt after being in our local parade 2day. And the sweet version of brother wanting to snuggle.

Doggie stoke
We found these dog treats in the people ice cream section at the grocery store. They are bacon and cheese flavored
Baxter digs them

Baxter is one lucky dog!
We tried frozen doggie treats of various kinds over the years. Milo has the diabetus so it's gotta be no sugar. I read online to use blueberry or raspberry in plain nonfat Greek yogurt, specifically for diabetic dogs.
And now his teeth are bad so cold seems to bother him. Or it's brain freeze. I made the mistake of chilling it a tad too much. I wanted to set it up. Next time I want or need a creamy treat for him I'll probably mash green beans in the yogurt and let it get to room temp. He loves green beans. He goes nuts for them.
No idea if I'll be able to celebrate a 16th bday with him. He's been winding down for a couple of years. The last 18 mos have been a bit rough. No idea when he'll decide it's time for me to post in that other thread.

Tgapp, i can’t help but notice the post a week ago about a 34wk human doing an 18mi hike…did that help move the small person closer to daylight?

Yeah, caught a brief minute on the river yesterday with the proud papa. Mama and baby are happy and healthy.
