    Doggie stoke

Not sure where this belongs, as this is anti-stoke, but this guy has a bum front left leg. Not sure why. Not sure what happened. I don’t see anything obvious but he’s so guarded with with and can tolerate absolutely no weight on it such that I wonder if he dislocated his shoulder? Tore something? Yesterday afternoon he was limping, but was able to put some weight on it. Not super uncommon for him lately to be a bit gimpy every now and then. He runs hard and isn’t a young dog. Today he isn’t putting any weight on it at all.

He tolerates rubbing and squeezing but does not tolerate having it moved around at all, which feels like ligaments. Maybe a pulled muscle?

Not sure what to do. Scheduling a vet appt for first thing Monday. He isn’t in obvious pain just laying on the floor, but everything else obviously hurts. Help?

The way he’s laying here…. Makes me wonder if that’s a dislocated shoulder? I can’t begin to guess, really….

Sam is enjoying some downtime at the cabin.

The run around in neck deep snow this morning freaked him out, but he channeled his inner porpoise. (no pics)

He insists on maintaining his circling three times before laying down. It’s the most pathetic thing ever. Takes a long time.

Sending good vibes Mustonen. I sometimes worry with my aging herders as they don't know any speed except full throttle either. But Oskar can be tamed with treats.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Taking Sam out for a late night pee last night he pulled me off my feet on icy driveway and I cracked a rib.

    Not stoked at him.

    Ouch. Heal up.

He's sorta outgrown his bed, but still prefers it to the new bigger one.
