Yeah he has his papers. Wasn’t planning on actually getting him from Germany, but a good friend of mine is a breeder in Michigan and she has some partners over there. They swap litters sometimes and she told me he would be exactly what I was looking for so I went for it

Still snowless in Upper Michigan. Pretty disconcerting.
Big doggyday today.
Lil feller found something rancid in the woods, he was so stoked about whatever it was that he flipped out tearing ass around in circles for like 2 minutes.
So I had to walk him for 4 hours until he was dead tired
So he would be docile for his de—foulment bath and cool with being hunkered down for a while drying off.
Here he is now...all tuckered out and bundled up.

Doggie stoke
Anybody have experience with Formosa Mountain Dog?
We have an opportunity to adopt a rescue pup. It’s not a pure breed, as far as I know. We have 3 kids, a 5yo bloodhound/lab mix, and 2 cats. Poking about online, I see them with families that include multiple pets. I also read that they can have a tendency for aggressiveness to strangers. I’ve also read that they sometimes bond to a single household member and can be aggressive to other members. Of course, training can do a lot, but....
Our current dog goes with us on many outings where there are other people and dogs (sometimes they are off leash): hiking, rivers and creeks, lakes, and camping. Outings to the river can be daily in the summer.
Thoughts?
Posing for my daughter
Helping clean the kitchen. A trait that we haven’t trained out of him (choosing our battles)
