So we just got a new puppy last night to give our 2+yo a playmate. After a several-week process to adopt, she is home and SUPER FUCKING CUTE.
Older dog is half whippet and half plotthound, super alert and playful but also a huge cuddler and olympic-level trick-doer. Now being the best big sister ever too, she is really funny to watch "play easy". New pup is 4.5 months old, half Jack Russel and half Collie, sweetest little pup ever- very neglected though. Ears were pretty tattered and still healing, face is pretty chewed up, guessing from insects or something, as she's really spottily scabbed up all over the head/face. All she wants is to play and be loved in between play sessions and has very little if any fear. When this fucking app allows me to post pics from mobile, I will, she is cute as a freakin' button.

Love this guy. Adopted from a shelter when I was living in California.
Guy loves splashing around in the freezing cold streams and getting out on the trail.
No tests, but figure Pit mixed with either Rhodesian or Boxer. Snax.

Best thread on the TGRz. Love all the pups. Dowork, congrats on the new buddy for your buddy. Having two dogs is so much better. And SFB, your new guy is such a good looking guy. Love to see his pictures.
We had some friends over yesterday and invited their Jack Russel to come over too. Normally that dog is such a yippy little fuck, it gets on my nerves over at their place, but hanging out with our chill crew, was just nice and calm. Just goes to show how two calm dogs can chill everyone else out.

Dog finds pot of Chinese calligraphy ink, family returns home to total carnage
A family returns from three hours at the cinema to be greeted by a scene of total chaos. Apparently the ink, a traditional type for Chinese calligraphy practice, is 100% bio and non-toxic to dogs and humans. Tell that to the soft furnishings though…

We had a husky that tore the grill off of my wife's car. He was mad he didn't get to go for a ride with us.
He also chewed three seat belts in half in the same car. He did that just for fun.
Awesome dog!

Huskys are amazing. When I was living in my buddy's house in Jay I used to wake up with Max's snout about 4 inches from my face. I was not sure if he was waiting to eat me or just get outside. He once stole the show at the Mavericks surf comp when he jumped off a cliff chasing birds. He was fine of course.
Here is Penny after getting worked out, she needs her rest.
A woman reported to police at 6:30 p.m. that she was being "smart-mouthed."
