Black dog is mine too, chunky Heeler mix is the local trailhead guardian.
That was a year ago, he's bigger now. Have no idea what his makeup is. Came off the Colville Res. with mom and five litter mates. They all looked a bit different.

After losing my golden Dec 29th, I put in an application for Golden Retriever Rescue of CO. They called last week and i went down to pick this guy up in Denver this AM. Unreal someone would give him up. He is so well behaved, comes when you call him and just loves to be loved. My older guy likes him as well.

    Duke is 5 years old.

This always blows my mind. How the fuck can you give up a dog.
I get pleas for $$$ from the rescue I got my Gunther from. This mornings was for a poor GSD that was seriously neglected. Open wounds all over it, nails so long it could barely walk. They finally took him to the vet and hearing the costs to patch the dog up said just put it down. WTF!!! Thank Dog the vet called the rescue to come get him. Fuckin people is all I can figure out.

O and congrats on the new buddy.

My rescue pup. Mom is a Catahoula Leopard dog, think dad was a lab. Perfect size, knee high, 55lbs. Smart as a whip. But, a big drooler.

Congrats on the rescue Golden! Mine on the previous page was a rescue golden that was abused and kicked. Unreal how horrible humans can be to these loving creatures. Good looking dogs everyone!

A few days late, but what the hell. Avery has gone from a totally scared and abused lab to a super cute ball of energy. And she doesn’t mind posing for pictures.
