I was a poorly placed squirrel away from injury. It was exhilarating.

    Some Ozzy stoke...

I posted in another thread about mid of July that our boy wasn’t well, vomiting like crazy, blood in his stool, wouldn’t eat or drink. Ended up having him stay at the vet for a few days so they could get his fluids up, and settle his stomach so he would eat and keep food and fluids down. It was horrible. It lasted for about two weeks.

It turns out that he had a pancreatic attack, on top of his kidneys acting up relative to the kidney disease diagnosis he got during his last physical at the end of June.

Ozzy’s 13.5 yo and shares the same medical conditions (mentioned above) his sister did, and she had a good long life. So the diet has been adjusted, we’re giving him a supplement to keep kidney values at an acceptable, manageable level.

A bunch of you have asked in PMs and texts how he’s doing and I’m stoked to say that he is back to his normal self, his strength levels are back up and he can’t wait for our daily ride or hike.

Now, if I could just get him to stop rolling in shit he finds in the forest.

    Go Ozzie!

Pearl too; good to see the next gen going full throttle. A lesson for all of us.

Loki is about to hit 15, and shits in the house every day, but she’s my buddy, and so stinkin’ sweet. Makes me smile every day.

Yeah, I've done the same. I bought a one-to-two coupler leash and it felt a wee bit smarter, but still not smart...at all.

I’ve tried the Y with these two. It just pisses them off and makes it so I can’t correct them. If they were similarly behaved on walks maybe it would work. But the one is a bit of an asshole who has to be frequently reminded to stop pulling, and the other will happily heel off leash.

I found Baxter chilling in this little nook in my shrubs the other day. I think he was trying to hide/guard a bone treat
