^^^ We’re dog sitting these two maniacs for the week. They tussle and wrestle, total spazzes, then every five minutes one mounts the other. Hank, the pitcher in this photo, is fixed, but still has the muscle memory, and gives it his all. Grizz Lee, the catcher, is 6 months old, and has no idea what the fuck is going on.

I think Hank is grooming Grizz.

^ Hilarious. In local news, the rescue folks organized a reunion for people and their northern pups, so we went to the paw-ty. It was quite fun, there were close to 30 dogs there, and everyone got along. Moira ended up playing a lot with a dog that looked a lot like Utah, our last dog, which was a bit eerie. Here she prepares to meet her people:

I promise you this: you will outlive the bastards." – Edward Abbey

    Strong combo.

Once we had a black lab, an evinrude 115, and over a hundred miles of lake coast to explore.

    That was one happy lab.

So, he broke his leg again. Million dollar dog, so to speak.
He runs a little stiff legged, but appears OK.

Bob looks like he just needs some more ravioli to heal properly.

Good luck with the recovery, cute dog plugboots!

I just spent the last week dogsitting / housesitting for another dog named Utah, a Catahoula leopard mix our friends adopted from the Beehive State over the winter. She's a chewer, and they found out she loves stuffed animals, so they buy a lot of used stuffed animals from the thrift shop. It's hilarious to see her laying into a giant teddy bear - Jack the Ripper meets the Muppets. Here she is partway through killing the Pink Panther.
