My 15 year old cockapoo was on the edge of the landing with me, jumping up and down hoping for a treat. Before I could get her away from the edge she tumbled fast half way down the wooden stairs, then without slowing down at all found her feet and ran down the rest of the way with her feet moving at warp speed--like she planned it. Then she turned around at the bottom and looked up at me like nothing happened. I went down and carried her back up--these days here hind legs are very weak and I have to carry her up even 3 steps. Best I can tell she's fine.

A few days ago we thought she was about to die. She hadn't eaten in a couple of days and just slept, only getting up a couple of times to relieve herself (only once in the house though). Figured as a dying treat we'd see if canned dog food would get her to eat (she's been on kibble all her life except she might get some people meat at holidays). It did. She's been scarfing the stuff down and acting like a puppy, bad hind legs and all. I think she faked dying to get better food. Then my son told me that his 8 year old Bernese, who also seemed to be dying, perked up with canned food too. Dogs are smart.

They want the good stuff. The dog and cat in our house get some of both. You ate all your tasty? Ok, well, you're not getting supper until the dry is gone. They always finish it.

OG, if you can find a brand of frozen meat patties made by "Perfect Pet" your dog will thank you. That company makes great food for the doggies that you defrost and I mix it with kibble for dinner. They scarf that stuff down. Much better than canned food and my guys are doing well (knocks on wood) for 11 year old big guys.

    Doggie stoke

Bodhi is a gremlin. We don’t get him wet.

He’s a little terror, but sweet if he likes you.

Oso's hose obsession continues. Really nice on hot days. He gets soaked. Lawn gets a bit of water. He is nuts. Really need to get him into agility to channel some of his obsession.

My little guy all worn out from another lazy day. Being a dog in Coronado, to a loving family, does not suck.
