I’m always surprised when the really unique looking dogs are on the edge of euthanasia. If I’m being that shallow (and who isn’t, when narrowing down the list of animals you’re considering) that guy is at the top of my list.
My dog has similarly unique features. He gets so many compliments it almost makes you self conscious.focus.

Anyone have experience with bernedoodles? Longevity, hiking ability, ability to hang by itself for a little bit, etc.? The wife wants a mini. So far all I know is that they are cute and expensive.

Anyone else here have 3 dogs? Am I out of my mind to even consider rescuing a 3rd buddy? My 2 are super tight with each other, but they do like other dogs where ever we go. There is a Keeshond that needs a home and having had two previously, (Shadow in picture) I know they are the best dogs ever and I don't want the dog waiting months for a home. WWMD?

Some good looking new additions in here.
Update on Edgar; after the vet giving him a 30-50% chance 2 weeks ago, he is mostly back to normal (other than he takes more pills than your grandma). Begging for food, charging the fence when strangers walk by, and even got cleared for a short and slow MTB ride by the doc. He had (has?) primary IMHA, treatments seem to be working.

That is good news.

Our new rescue dog is scared of my wife. It's not terrible. He'll take food from her and let her scratch his head briefly, but he is very and will often run away when she nears. My wife is taking it quite personally, which isn't helping, and seems to be working on a way to blame me.
Any advice? Thanks.

Live with 3. My girlfriend has to poms and I have a border collie mix. They get along great. I do prefer 2 though.

Treats and time. Like brainwash him that every time he sees her he gets a treat. Our last rescue heeler was 3ish yo when we got him and did a lot of growling at my wife if she would get in his bubble. It took a few months for him to really open up to her. Now he comes in and snuggles with her every morning after I go to work.
