We have a new contender for the name 'shithead'

This shithead drank water that was sitting inside car tires - summer tires about to be mounted that were out all winter in my backyard. He immediately started coughing from it, it became kennel cough (don't ask me how) and now it's developed into pneumonia.

I had a 2/12 week Japan trip METICULOUSLY planned out and booked and we were leaving 4 days - our first big family vacation ever - but now this fucker can't stay in a kennel because he's contagious and we can't get a dogsitter because he nips people he doesn't like or know well, and the sitter would have to be with him 24/7 which is a hard ask and because if he goes downhill he needs to get to the vet ASAP. He's not even 2 so I'm guessing he's gonna be strong and live but we need to be home to make sure he does.

I can't push the trip to the vet-recommended 3 weeks because that's monsoon season and too hot and humid in Japan. If he dies, sure, he'll be my little angel and the Japan trip won't matter but I also want to strangle him if he survives.

Actually, they already saved you from the encephalitis that you were going to get from the mosquitoes breeding in your tires. Pamper that puppy.

If Ollie lays out on us like Olive is there, it’s just a matter of time before he farts at/on us

He may be helping me donate $4500 to booking.com in unused plane tickets that are not refundable (3 days later from booking.com and they can't tell me if I get a refund, credit or nothing. It's looking like 'nothing' right now but I can't argue my case until they make a decision!) I bought insurance in case we got sick - doesn't cover pets - FACK. I don't like stress.

Fuck. I'd probably be drinking the tire water hoping to get sick enough for insurance to kick in. Sucks man, sorry to hear it.

Ha! I don't know what was in the water, but he was chugging it and I had to yank him by his collar to get him to stop. He had plenty of water inside, so he wasn't dehydrated. I don't know wtf was in those tires but he loved it.

Wild guess, he already had kennel cough, but the tirewater irritated his throat making him cough which kicked of the already brewing kennel cough? Or he picked up kennel cough at the vet due to irritated throat and lowered immune system? THe former is my bet.

Leave your little shithead with me while you vacation. Problem solved. Probably give me some money too I guess.

New saga begins this afternoon. This is Daisy, although she doesn't seem to know it yet. She's almost 4 months old. Around 20lbs. Less maybe. Lab/border collie mix probably.
She is learning how to dog and I'm trying to coax her out from under the coffee table. She was a big hit at Ace, but the leash wasn't a big hit with her.

This dog is the opposite of Wally with the shiness and timidity. Hopefully she grows out of it. I know some of it is the breed.

Well, Crash made it to 3, which seems like a fricking miracle at times, and is a legitimate chick magnet. The Starbucks girls love him.

If his name is Crash, why does his cup say Finn?
Are you just using him as a prop to hit on the coffee chicks?
