I would be so grateful if my kooks made it to 13. Good for him and you.

Neighbors female beagle keep wandering over, really sets my dog off. When he's outside he is on a 75' lead. First time it happened I got him in the house, then grabbed a leash and brought the beagle back. Wife was a little distraught, not very grateful.

Last couple times my dog has been inside so less drama.
Pretty sure my dog just wants to play, but really not looking to test out 80lb leashed dog potentially defending his territory against a beagle that weighs maybe 8lbs.

It's just about 1am now and he starts up, figured the bear was around. Didn't see anything the first time, second time I get up the beagle is on the deck.

Going to stop over for. A chat tomorrow, not sure how that will go. Primary concern is for the beagle, looks a little underweight, crossing the road isn't safe and there's plenty or predators around.

Wow; you have cause to be concerned, on multiple levels. An 8 lb. beagle definitely has something wrong, health wise.
Best of luck - keep us posted.

    No one home earlier today.

I'm pretty sure I'm not exaggerating her weight, I literally scooped her up in one hand and barely noticed. I started seeing her in the spring, so not really a puppy either.

Neighbors are city folk who moved up here last fall.

Looks like you need to have a tight grip at all times. And I'm glad you've got a bud to protect you from those minnows. Devious creatures, those minnows.

The face of a dog who would love to be outside but someone forgot his house keys. Training through the door was not successful. (Lassie, flip the deadbolt!) Help was on the way.
