Happy face indeed! If I can come close to that at his age (95+ in peeps annuals) I will donate all my worldly assets to the Church Of Dog.

Close. 93 Mastercraft Barefoot 200 with an 06 Evinrude 225. I bought the hull in 97 from a show ski team and brought it back to life...full composite construction. In that era outboard barefoot boats were a thing...MC was trying to compete against Malibu's Flightcraft and the sweet Barefoot Sanger outboard...both of which are better hulls that I get to ski behind frequently because friends own them. The dash was all the same garbage back then. Nice old boat for sandy dirty dogs and it skis very well for what it is.

Doggie stoke
Added a new member to our house 2 months ago. The wife-to-be wanted a big dog for our long trips into the woods, and ended up finding this rascal at a ranch on a fluke.
Meet Meritt:
He’s already pushing near-50 lbs, and is on track to be a big boy:
Friendly and calm enough to be around my 94 year old grandma though, so that is a plus.

Cute! Is Merritt a Pyrenees or cross?

He is a purebred Pyranees. Got him from a ranch family that’s been breeding them for 4+ decades. They rely on them heavily for guarding livestock from predators, which is handy since their ranch sits next to the Mission Range.
We are still guessing how big he will get, since the mom was 95lbs and the dad was 160lbs(!), but for now we are enjoying his smaller size:

He's a cute boi! Yeah, they're all big dogs, but the size can vary. We have one named Chet that when he stands on his hind legs, he's taller than me and I am 5' 11". All of our dogs are true working livestock guardians. We use purebred Pyrenees and crosses. His markings look like a couple of our one-year old guardian dogs. Two of them are Pyrenees/Kangal crosses, so they are more of a fawn color with the fluffy coat.

My wife rescued this puppy from a ranch down in central Utah a couple of weeks ago. 5 months old. Super cute and loves to play with our other dog, but she’s fucking crazy. Like I seriously think she may be broken. She’s so anxious that she seems untrainable, she can come to you for love one minute and then act like she’s never seen you the next. Goes from chilling on the couch to running around the house barking because someone flushed a toilet. Literally scared to death of her own shadow.
The other big problem is her aggressiveness towards cats. Full on murderous berserker rage when she sees the cats. Nothing we do that has worked with other dogs seems to affect her.
She seems tortured by anxiety. We’re going to try some CBD for dogs and we have a trainer friend coming to help next week. I hope we can make it work because we’ve gotten attached. Sorry for the not stoke, but hey, cute puppy.
