    Nice looking dog.

My guy goes in next Monday for his second TPLO surgery. Had one done on July 3 last year. He tore the other side this spring. Hes going to be laid up for a while. That will bother him more then anything. He lives to run.

Good luck with the TPLO. My Rosie had one 4 years ago. I kept waiting for her to blow out the other when she gets the zoomies.

That breed has always held a special spot in my heart. I like the hybrids, as I think they are calmer and maybe more healthy. My American Alsatian Gunther with Maya the wacky Malamute.

Those are 2 cool monsters you have there. I saw a dog that was all black, but looked like a GS on my ride through the park this a.m. I stopped to say hello and the lady said it was a purebred GS. I'd never seen an all black one before.

Yup, standard, black and white are common. There is a black one back a little bit.

I've always had rescue mutts. Including a Border Collie I found in the middle of the road, in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere, with a broken pelvis. But my neighbor's ( brother had a litter of black GSD's. Since my neighbors (both husband and wife) were my college roommates 20 years ago, and I was in both their weddings, I ended up with one. Only cost me a $50 Cabela's Gift Card and a 6-pack. Our old man was getting old and they were awfully cute.
