Enjoy yourselves, keep your brain in your head and your head firmly attached to your body, the body active and alive, and I promise you this much: I promise you this one sweet victory over our enemies, over those deskbound people with their hearts in a safe deposit box and their eyes hypnotized by desk calculators. I promise you this: you will outlive the bastards." – Edward Abbey

Sent from my iPhone using TGR ForumsI need to go to Utah.
Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?
So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

The goal is that she is my wife's dog first. Being around heelers the whole time I lived at home with my parents, I'm aware of how much they tend to pick one person to be their master, so I'm pretty hands off for right now. In another week or two, I'll start giving her alot more love once she is thoroughly bonded with my wife. Zoey will allow me to disappear on more mtb rides with my buddies (My wife doesn't ride like we do) and not get the stink eye so bad upon my return home because she's playing companion while I'm away. She'll be my riding buddy for easier rides. I have no desire to be another person who lost their dog in the woods while selfishly hauling ass.
I introduced Zoey to my bike today while I cleaned it in the yard. She was not feeling it. Hope hubs make a scary noise apparently. baby steps.

My girl is developing a small barking problem. Has anyone had success with a bark collar or other tactics? The collar prices range widely so wondering about any recommendations..
She’s mostly chill but barks when outside with action behind the neighbors fence or when people walk past our house. Suspect she’s attempting to protecting us. Trying to get to a normal balance and not harm her.
