    Doggie stoke

Rescued this girl2 weeks ago from Rifle shelter in Western CO. I went down to get this other dog but when she came out to meet me she attached my other dog, Duke. So I was leaving and this little pit bull mix started licking my dog through the fence.]

She si 1 year old 40lbs. Anyway we spent about 20 minutes toghether and I took her home. They said she was brought in as a stray, but she must have been someone’s dog. She is housebroken and pretty well behaved. Her name is now Daisy.

There was another of her snuggling with SDP (I think he edited) that inspired my post.

I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

My wife and I got another Safe Harbor Lab Rescue foster today, a 2-yr old black lab mix from Texas (foster #28, I think?). He's a super friendly guy who absolutely loves playing with our two snotty girls. They've welcomed him with (mostly) open arms.

to the pictures above. We had a black lab, high-end full blood that I ttrained the shit out of, for 8 yrs (died unexpectedly early) and we have now had a golden retreiver for 10. Was really surprised in the differences; IMO the lab was way, way more "mouthy" whether it was play bite, tug-a-war, etc. the golden, if she gets fired up enough, will play some tug, but that's it. won't even so much as play bite.

It’s super vocal, sniffs EVERYTHING exhaustively, and climbs like a damn goat.

Potential point of friction in our relationship is her (lack of, from my perspective) discipline of the dog. For me, things like sit, come, drop that, go away are Right Now commands. And my dogs comply. She has more of a dialog with her dog about it that seems approximately useless and frustrating for everybody. I thought she was trainable, but am starting to question that (the gf, mostly). Might need to learn to just deal with it.
    focus.
