It turned out to be a fine morning.
Going out to get my morning paper, I find this obviously lost dog in my front yard. No tags... Half of a leash.
Gave him some food and water, and he lays down, waiting. My lady throws a post on Fb, to get her network working.
After a call to my vet, they have me bring him in for a chip check. They will hold him for 3 days.
Less than an hour later, one of her Fb friends posts that Her friend has a lost dog. Last seen two miles from here.
And blind! (We suspected that, but weren’t sure.)
Messages are passed.
Atlas was home before Noon.
