That is a good looking dog. I might have to research that one not because of looks but it could be a good combo personality-wise.

Here's my #1 PITA, other one is not a PITA though.

We picked up foster #26 (with Safe Harbor Lab Rescue) this morning from Denver, after she came in as an owner surrender from Kansas on Thursday. Lady is a 7-8 yr old that’s overweight and in pretty rough shape, but she’s already settling in nicely.

She’ll drop 15 pounds in no time just chasing our two hellions around.

Props again for taking in another surrender!

Our 1yr old Golden passed her therapy dog test today, very stoked since the training started 9+ months ago. Three supervised visits and she officially gets her papers.

    Enjoying her successful day.

^ Thanks. It does take a good amount of time training daily (especially in the beginning) to get everything down but it's definitely worth it. My wife did the majority of the class training and then she would go over the details with me so I could work on commands during the week. Our experience, if you spend 20-30mins daily going over each lesson item until they have it down they remember as long as you go back and review older commands/recalls etc. occasionally. Apparently, they want you to start at senior living facilities before moving on to kids (which is our main reasoning for getting her certified) but unlike our older dog, she loves any person who wants to pet her so old or young shouldn't make a bit of difference. Good luck.

I love the 3 lab colors represented.
since you guys travel so much for your business, I'm impressed with your dog adoptions
we had 3 at one point and then for marital reasons I had to keep it at 2 after the last passed away
curious do you guys usually board them when you are away or have someone stay at your house?

Hey, isn’t that the show almost drowned a German Shepard shooting a pool scene?

    Love this...
    Clearly food was in play
I have to say, understanding your business and life I am impressed that you pull this off.

I aspire to live in a place some day that would allow me the space to have more dogs and rescue at will without giving it a second thought.

Somewhat on the subject, here's an instagram feed I've been following that i just love.
"Instagraming for shelter pups" up in Canmore, Alberta.

In the mean time, here's a picture of my boy after a long glorious day in the woods.
