These 2 have become a pretty solid hunting team this summer. The soon to be 11yr old lab/hound mix flushes them out and the 9mo old speedster golden does the chasing. Daily favorites in the yard are chipmunks, squirrels and rabbits but today's chase on our walk was a treat, a lone turkey out in the open field. Lucy came damn close to a mouthful of feathers just as it got off the ground.

This little one is now Lola although we still call her Lo. The rescue said def 1/2 cairne terrier and maybe cattledog heeler dad. We are thinking Jack Russel dad. 4 lbs when we got her at 10 weeks. 10 lbs at 15 weeks. She is so sweet and well adjusted to our pack I cant remember what life was like without here making me smile or laugh 100x a day.

Figured id throw in a pic of my neighbors husky Ace checking out Mr Jay our dogcat through the peephole. Right after this pic Jay was rubbing up on Aces nose all happycat style then spins and swats his nose. Funniest thing ever

Got BoBo a buddy this week. Shes 11 weeks old, about 12lbs, from da dog pound. They said more than 50% border collie, probably will be 55-65lbs. All her brothers and sisters were black and white but she is tan/cream with a hint of black mask in her face. She was the largest by far, larger than the boys, and shes extremely athletic. I think she has a little shepherd and corgi in her.

BoBo is almost 32” at the shoulder, almost 200lbs, and still growing.
