Meeting up in Moab would certainly be possible. I was planning on riding out there as well. I road last night, but it is cold again today. It is suppose to be high 50's all weekend here in Denver. I am planning on riding pretty much all weekend. I just need to find a good place to ride. I am still trying to figure out where the good rides are. Any ideas?

Obviously, this time of year the mountains are out of the question. Maybe I will head south and ride somewhere around colorado springs. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

How hard is "cleaning the carbs"?
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

I'm definitely taking my MSF this summer and finding a used Ninja 250 or SV650 to use for the year until I can buy one of these when they're released this Fall.

I've been waiting for years for a bike to get me hot and bothered to go cross country, be able to bomb along the fire roads around my area, and not cost 15k.
Forced days in bed this winter: 48
    Forced days on crutches/walker: 37
    I'M WALKING AGAIN!!!
Days on snow: Are you kidding?

That beamer looks pretty sick. You won't be dissapointed with an SV 650, I had an 06 650S that got stolen a couple weeks ago (fuckers). My first street bike and I liked it a lot.

just spent most of the afternoon putting a front fender, speedometer, turn signals, mufflers, horn and mirrors on the scoot to go get inspected then taking it all off again.

    glad that's done.

I don't have any pics of it, but here's my old 1981 Can-Am. It still runs like a champ. I'd like to make it street legal, but don't think it's possible. If anyone has any advice let me know.

Not too difficult if it end of season maintenance was done. Last year I did mine 3 times with no luck and then decided to take it to a MC shop, they have a hydrosonic cleaner that gets all the little tiny ports and that fixed my problem. I just couldn't get everything clean with a can of carb cleaner, and a few long soaks.

I wish I back in Denver riding right now. Instead I am stuck in Houston till Wednesday for work...speaking of work, if they are going to have me stay...I should probably get something done.

Just signed up for some track time the day after the World Superbike and AMA Superbike races at Miller Motorsports Park. Monday, June 2 is the date.

    http://www.apextrackdays.com/tracks/mmp/

If any Utards are interested, no experience is necessary and you can ride Grandma's Puch moped(note disclaimer) as long as it has non-glycol-based coolant, passes a safety check and you feel comfortable taking it at max speed on the front straight.

PM me if you have any questions about the track day.

Disclaimer** Grandma and Puch Europe MG are not responsible if you get a raspberry when you try to crank it through a corner to keep up with a R6 and go over the bars at 23.2 MPH when you stuff a pedal.
