All well and fine until you run until you juice. Once you can fill up on electrons like you can fill upon hydrocarbons I will be interested. Until then e-bikes and cars are too limited in purpose.

Don't they deliver electrons to your house? Having to stop for gas on the way to go dirt biking is not a convenience for me. Does seem more important to eliminate air filters (and oil changes?) than snorkels, though.

If you’re ever in Solvang CA there’s a vintage motorcycle museum that’s just fascinating. Great history and beautiful and amazing bikes.

This one’s for nutmegchoi who, if you didn’t know, has raced on ice.

And ‘cause I’m a Triumph guy, here are a couple, but the real cool shit was the older vintage bikes.

Been there twice and missed opening hours and/or they weren't available. We definitely try again. It is one of my fav. rides, up Gibraltar Rd. stop at Cold Springs Tavern for a beer, loop through Solvang and back the coast.

You know your life is changing when the collector that you just sold your cycle too say's "Wow, first time I've bought a classic bike from the original owner."

Speedway on ice is a good Youtube search.

Drank the coolaid last night. 2014 Honda CB1000R, 3k miles, asking $5,900. I showed up, he said he'd take $5,200 cash. I had to scramble to get the cash on a Saturday night, but it all worked out. I can't wait to ride this thing!

I think you vastly overpaid, but given the fun you will have, it will pay off. Enjoy.

Yeah, thanks. Let me go back through 30 or 40 posts and maybe find out what it is. It's not a 1000R.

It is a CB1000R. Not sure how I overpaid. There's some adhesive left from where he removed the tank stickers. Other than that, it's minty as fuck. Book was around $7,100, and I'm guessing that's about 10k+ miles.

I woke up around noon on Saturday. Family went for pizza, then we all went out to see the bike. He wanted cash, and was staying with his brother. Leaving Sunday. No Venmo. I called my bank, and they increased my ATM withdrawal limit to $5,000. It took 30 minutes on hold just to speak to someone that said no. Never thought before about how to get cash on a Saturday night. Went to six ATM's to get the cash. Then, went to Safeway and bought dinner ingredients, got $200 cash back. The funniest thing was the largest denomination from the ATMs was $50, so the poor guy had to count 100 of them. In hindsight, I could have gotten up earlier to hit the bank, or just pulled the cash out earlier in the week. I just didn't foresee the wife jumping on the bike and starting it up, nor him dumping $700 off the price so fast.

Congratulations. That's a beautiful bike. People need to lighten up a little around here

Just took the bike for a ride. Over my head, but I'll think I'll be fine as long as I take it easy. Bike is torkey as fuck, and wheel wants to come up regularly. Lots and lots to work on, but I'm looking forward to it. Physically, it's a great match.

This makes my pants tight. I’m currently looking for an ARO or Riot so I can turn my Beta 390 into a snow bike.

Looks like a great deal on a leftover 17' KX450 that would be a good snow bike. Great dealership to do business with BTW.
