Wow, this might sell some bikes for Yamaha. I used think Chris Birch was good at tossing big bikes around but this guy is on another level! Goes to show what kind of skills you can build with a trials background.

I’ve always wanted an Aprilia V4. Can’t happen right now but that photo is going to get that itch going again. Rode a 2014 Tuono once. Probably the best bike I’ve ever been on. Melting connectors be damned.
I’ve had 10 bikes total, mostly Japanese naked bikes. worked as a vintage moto mechanic for a while. Haven’t had a bike in 2 years. Tempted to get another bike for next season, but I’m not so sure I want to deal with all the cell distracted drivers these days. Might think about just doing track or getting a 250 dirt bike.

Get both; Tuono V4 and 250 two-stroke - best of all worlds.
I'm not familiar with melting connectors on the Aprilias. Maybe there were some teething problems on the early V4 1000s? The 1100s seem to be rock solid.
This should help stoke the fire:
And since we're on the subject of two-strokes, this from the weekend, getting in some Cascade alpine riding before the snow flies. #brownpow

FIFY
A Beta four-stroke for those times where you just need a plate
And a 790 Adventure R for long-distance, off-road travel.
And then there's the other Aprilia for dedicated track work. This one joined the stable earlier this year.
Lest I forget my Ducatis. My Multistrada for when I want to go far, really fast, with gear.
And no collection would complete without an air-cooled Ducati

Nailed it, MotoZ Adventure. Not much time on them obviously, but they are really wander-y at low speeds in town, 25-30. Thinking maybe I have to much pressure in them, need to experiment.
Couldn't find enough snow free dirt here to see how good they are off roadThe whole human race is de evolving; it is due to birth control, smart people use birth control, and stupid people keep pooping out more stupid babies.
