Funny, I was up there with a friend checking out potential camping sites over the weekend, too...and wishing I had either of my bikes with me.

Just testing out my ninja skills. Good thing I telemarked for a bit, really teaches you how to "tuck and roll". Rode away without a scratch/bruise. Could have also been the high dollar fullbody armor

Anybody want to ride some high country single track in the next month? Gonna be snowed out soon and its riding snotty, wet, and fun as hell. Ill be coming form the Aspen side, but will likely meet over on the Taylor park side of things if necessary.

Man you had that! Premature bail thinking you were gonna hit that left tree? The bike was coming over that obstacle and tracking straight!

Yeah, probably. I knew it was there and had been planning my move all day. I wanted to keep power to the rear wheel all the way up and over, to keep the front tire from nosediving. I think I chickened out on the throttle and bailed when I felt the rear end starting to rise.

    Second ride of the year.
It was only 90 miles, but better than none.

Kinda late on the TR for this years DBR. My neighbors about 5 yrs back started the Dirt Ball Rally which is a CB to Aspen ride. Bike needs to value less than $500. Got to ride it this year. Made it out but didn't make it back and had to get a ride to CB. I'm 6'2" 210lbs plus my pack was about 20lbs might have been more. 1990 XR100. Far right in the pic. It did really well but drivetrain that I should have replaced prior to the trek didn't have it in it to make it back over.

Anyone else following Lyndon Poskitt? I have dug his adventure riding. The guy can fully tear down his bike and machine parts if needed. Runs endurance rally’s on the same bike he has essentially been living off of for a few years while traveling the world. He is taking his second attempt on the Dakar.

Hey thanks for sharing! Lots of fun riding here on the western slope. Going to do a top end then still ride the desert this winter. Lets connect again!

Since we are rapidly approaching winter, and some of you are having limited chances to ride, here was my ride today.

I like your choice of exhaust.
There’s no other way than Termigoni for Italians.

Sweet baby Jesus, that looks wicked. Where are you tracking it?

I can barely get out for an afternoon ride these days, but meeting up with you is on the short list once I get some free time.

Two tracks 'round these parts; Portland International Raceway (PIR) and The Ridge up in Shelton, WA.

Yah, the Aprilia is a beast. It's all engine. And incredibly smooth.
