Saw this in Chamonix last week. I'm not an expert, but I believe this is an original 650, the first real adventure bike.Click image for larger version.

WTF is with pictures here? I got about a 1 in 3 chance they will post properly. Seems totally random to me, but since it is mostly me, I have to assume I am doing something wrong.

    Maggot motorcycle stoke thread

So I have 5 motorcycles being shipped cross country with this company currently. They are 2 weeks late already, and the driver keeps saying a certain day, then doesnt show up. The guy wont answer his phone now, and I cant leave a voicemail.

What would you do? Just wait it out?

Start by reading your contract very carefully. That will dictate a lot of what you can do.

Is the driver the "company" or just an employee? Have you contacted the company directly? Have you paid in full? If there is an office to call, and you haven't paid in full, then telling them they have not fulfilled the contract commitment and will not be paid if not delivered by such and such a date, etc, etc,

The fine print sucks. I’ll definitely get my bikes, but on their time, not mine.

    Maggot motorcycle stoke thread

Did a little rip with my brother- over the Telkwa Pass, Nisga’a Highway to Gingolx. Then forest service roads home through the Kispiox. Got a bit of salmon fishing in as well as a crab feast in Gingolx. Click image for larger version.

About 600km only about 160 on pavement. Not bad for a $1,200 bike. Only issue was a turn signal fuse and a taillight bulb.

New to me, West Virginia I don't care about potholes anymore bike. I had to tear the top end off to get it to stop spewing oil out the exhaust, triumph 955i engines have to be one of the coolest powerplants between two wheels.

    Maggot motorcycle stoke thread

I had i nice little ride up to Bozeman from Jackson, a couple weeks ago. Just a few pictures from the road. Up through Grand Teton, across grassy lake road, up fish creek road to Big Spring in Island Park., then the Gallatin Canyon. Returned over trail creek, and the side roads in Paradise Valley and a leisure drive through Yellowstone.
Here are a few picrtues from. The road.

Dust Brake on Grassy Lake Road. A lot of riding on marbles lead to some pucker moments.

Just after a thunder storm soaked the road, and dropped hail just a little higher up, the still warm ground lead to a really cool fog on the road. Later that day I rode through a down pour and hail storm, but ran for the sun on the other side.

Checking out a little wild fire that had stated in the headwaters of the Gallatin.

I have discovered that riding aggressively, say sustained 80mph melts my rear turn signal.

    - I am here for the stoke

Check the headset for play. I've had 6 of them and the headset on 4 of then needed to be adjusted after a few years of many miles.

Anyone in the Denver area looking for a new moto? I have a 2012 Triumph Thruxton with all the good aftermarket upgrades for power, weight reduction and better handling. Only has a couple thousand miles, just went through a full service and has brand new tires. Need to sell for move to RFV. Thanks

Did about 100 miles today, with about 30 of them on dirt. Good times.
