I just threw some race tech springs and gold valves on my vfr. I'm a happy camper. I'm 145 lbs. they must have made the original fork springs for infants.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Purchased this weekend. Rode a bit when I was younger but didn't have access to the type of trails we have here in CO. There will be some learning on my part for sure. Looking forward to getting out on it this weekend.

Looking at purchasing my first bike. From some brief, research it sound like 500-600cc is the range I should be looking at - enough to move on the highway, but not too much to overpower me. Looking at this:

    http://nanaimo.craigslist.ca/mcy/5077856070.html

Thoughts? Being in Canuckistan, value is $CAN. If the price is off, what should I be willing to pay for a bike like this. Thing is older than I am, but looks in terrific shape. Would take a buddy who is into bikes and very mechanically inclined to check it out with me. Or, should I be looking for a different type/style for a first bike? School a jong here, folks.

That is a great first bike. You may find yourself getting something a bit bigger down the road once you have gained some skills, but you should be able to get exactly what you paid for it.

I'd offer 1,900 CAD and see if they bite.

Remember, you start out with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before the luck runs out!

Picked this up in N. C. A couple months ago. Love this thing. Still have my '99 VFR, too, but it's not getting ridden much at all with the Italian bird right there.

Xt350 has about a 270# weight; Not too heavy. Still gets it done on trails.

I know I'm starting to Jones for some riding as i had my first bike dream of the season last night. I was doing front-wheelies on my buddies crotchrocket. ....only in my dreams.

My '69 Honda CB750 that we're fixing up. It Was my father's, who passed away in '79 and my mom gave it to his best friend. He rode it till '91, then barn stored. The friend passed away this last year and his wife gave it back to us. Cool story, right? https://www.instagram.com/p/rD79pyiQdj/
Also, check my instagram page for far too msny motorcycle pics.

    Should post up your progress.
Would like to see how it all unfolds.

Wish I had a family member who rode.
How awesome would it be to have a cool racer uncle or something??!!
Some reason, I decided to do a lot of things the rest family couldn't be any more careless.

    Not so glamorous moment.
This was the only real crash in my 27 year riding history.

It was the last session of the day.
I was tired and got greedy over the last turn.
Entered T10 at Brainerd International Raceway way too hot, leaned in even further to save it and rear washed out.
Lowside at 70mph, but only broke one finger and walked away.

With my broken finger and "F you I'm coming back for some more" face.

    So they say.
I like to (at least try to) play safe so I can enjoy this sport as long as I can.
Plan to retire to cruiser when I can't lean forward anymore.
I assume that'll be my late 60's or early 70's.
