Anyone have a suggestion for a casual hoodie? Don't particularly want to look like a feller of lumber.

The only XR I’ve ever owned came with an Evel Knievel action figure. It was pretty rad.

    Those Scramblers are fun bikes.

That Harley is Upstate as fuck. It needs spoked wheels tho.

This got me thinking. If I could go back in time and buy any bike that existed during my riding years what would I buy? For me this means mid 80's up.

OMFG I wanted this so bad. we had one little dealer in our hometown and i would visit weekly just to talk to it. My parents were dead set against anything with a motor.

It would be 40 years before I would get a two wheeler. It is a yami. and everyday I'm on it I'm 10 again.

The VFR is a close 2nd, but this would be my first:

If you have never scraped the cases on an R bike with skinny tires, you have never lived.

My long-time neighbor had a few of these. For what a hog of an engine (pun), the short wheelbase made it immensely flickable. Ridiculously so.

Yeah, the 98 white lightning had the newer suspension but wasn’t the shitty fuel injection yet. 100hp, thunderstorm heads.

I had one in 2004, it was amazing.

Haha, it's the living part after the case hits which gets interesting because you might run out of sidewall first. Speaking of BMW customs, there seems to be a movement afoot to take old R's and K's and turn them into cafe racers.

Should I pull the trigger? I’m retired and need a project. I think I want to take this apart and restore it.

Edit. Dammit, sold in 3 hours!

Went out to dodge the storms in the high country. Most folks stayed home. Amazing conditions given recent moisture. Click image for larger version.
