Took the whole frontend apart, cleaned the forks and new fork oil, new steering head bearings, new wheel besrings, new tire….no more death wobble. I don’t know what was wrong, could have been any of those things, but blunt force overhaul repair approach took care of it.
2 oil changes later, no more black oil…amsoil is staying clear now, and between that and getting the lever adjusted just right…clunky shifting issues are pretty much gone.

It has been fun to go show my wife lots of places I get to see with my driving job, this big bike tolerates 2up riding really well….as a 1500cc should, I guess…but still. We’re getting our $1500 worth.

Haven’t taken the pickup truck to work in ages…really makes me look forward to the end of the workday.
    Nice!

Nicely fucking done ill advised! Jesus, that's $1,500 well spent and it looks great As noted to Hutz previously though, I'm quite jealous of you assholes that know the right end of the wrench to use.

or the pistol breaks and her ass is covered in water.

Good to see even in NH she has the sense to wear a helmet though.

    great buy... a real keeper

    Heres the little sister

get a workout keeping it on the pipe - not not quite as nimble as little sis, but more and lower grunt.

foggy whether this comes with the oiler? Lose it... straight pour.

    Maggot motorcycle stoke thread

Sometimes on a Monday this is the best you can hope for. Quick ride for a roadside burrito.

Is/was the theory that instead of HAVING to clutch the driver, that the passenger could grab the "belt" that is bisecting the seat? Seems I recall that from the day

I'd assume so. If I launched hard, that strap would easily rip out

Hot wire the seat to the contour of ur butt. That material is just stapled to the seat pan.

Ride it until you figure where you belong.

A 4th or 5th string from a guitar and a car battery will work for long enough. Lose the strap and re-staple taught

When it grabs the bottom of the powerband you'll have much better control

Got a really dialed 350 XCFW for dual sporty around the hills. 2015 was a good vintage for this KTM. Fueling is perfect, suspension is average but not the horrible 4CS. Has kick start backup which makes me Stoked

Nice KTM! I just got this one done with mods and ready for action. Spent Sunday ripping around the high country dirt here in Utah. Love the agility and power this 2017 EXC-F 450 delivers.
