you don't see that bog until you're right on top of it. I did the same thing a few years ago, but I was solo, took me a while to extract myself.

Rode section 4 ( 3 weeks ago ) from Reddington to Barnard and dirty dog back down after a loop day out of MRV. Great ride with a mix of some real technical off road riding. Hope ur well MPPG and we should hook up and do the northern section of NEBDR.

I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...

Wow, this might sell some bikes for Yamaha. I used think Chris Birch was good at tossing big bikes around but this guy is on another level! Goes to show what kind of skills you can build with a trials background.

Iíve always wanted an Aprilia V4. Canít happen right now but that photo is going to get that itch going again. Rode a 2014 Tuono once. Probably the best bike Iíve ever been on. Melting connectors be damned.

Iíve had 10 bikes total, mostly Japanese naked bikes. worked as a vintage moto mechanic for a while. Havenít had a bike in 2 years. Tempted to get another bike for next season, but Iím not so sure I want to deal with all the cell distracted drivers these days. Might think about just doing track or getting a 250 dirt bike.

Get both; Tuono V4 and 250 two-stroke - best of all worlds.

I'm not familiar with melting connectors on the Aprilias. Maybe there were some teething problems on the early V4 1000s? The 1100s seem to be rock solid.

This should help stoke the fire:

And since we're on the subject of two-strokes, this from the weekend, getting in some Cascade alpine riding before the snow flies. #brownpow

Street bike for street, and a 2 stroke for the woods. This guy has the right idea.

And then there's the other Aprilia for dedicated track work. This one joined the stable earlier this year.
