Props to Edgeworks in Denver
So around 3 weeks ago, the wife and I arrive at the airport only to find out that Frontier airlines canceled our flight to Denver with 20 minutes notice.
After much effort on the ticket agents part, we managed to arrive in Denver at 11:30 that night (via La guardia) as opposed to the scheduled 10:00 am arrival.
This wouldn't have been a huge problem except that it was a saturday, and I was scheduled to pick up my ski's at a small shop called Edgeworks before they closed at 5, and they weren't open on Sunday.
I called Edgeworks from La guardia and explained my situation.
The end result was that Matt came down and opened the store up on a Sunday, just so I could pick my ski's!! plus they did a great job mounting the bindings.
For anyone looking for ski or bike work in Denver;

And thanks to Marshaolson for the Edgeworks recommendation.

Full props to Edge Works as well. I took both my Bros there to get ground and tuned. Top notch jobs on both.

I highly recommend EdgeWorks too. I took my new Legend Pros to Copper earlier in the year to ski their "70 inch" base which was more like 7 inches in the bowls. Took a high speed lap and skied across a 15 foot swath of rock and blew out (bent, not broken) an edge had a bad core shot. EW did a beautiful job straightening the edge and epoxying the gouge...other than the color of the epoxy you would not know the ski was repaired.

Another thumbs up for Edgeworks. Great shop, great people, and quality A++ work and customer service.

I hope you threw a couple of sixers in for thier trouble.
When I lived in Denver, Edgeworks was the only shop I would let touch my skis.
I went to buy a true bar and they had none in stock. They gave me one from the back and wouldn't take my money.
And they give a PSIA/ski area employee discount.Last edited by Tunco; 04-17-2006 at 04:51 PM.

Matt has been awesome in any business I've done at that shop. I hope this works out great for him, and took some stress of any future retirement planning.

Hmmm...good for Matt, but I'm not sure how I feel about this at this time.

Edgeworks service has always rocked in my book. They pulled out screws that were stuck as fuck (who knows...I used SVST binding glue only) on the house and have hooked me up with one of the BD skin cutters when I lost my g3 tool.
Reminds me I need to get some base grinds and pick up some discount wax for summer storage.

I agree it's an overall great shop. I was a little disappointed with some quiver killer mounts I've had done there in the past but overall they're great. I've heard nothing but great things about their bike shop too.
