My birthday present!
The wife got me a pretty cool birthday present...
(my bday is near the end of April)
Saturday evening, May 6th, tickets to Astros vs. Rockies; 12th row behind home plate.
Saturday night - dinner & stay in hotel in Denver
Sunday, May 7th, day game, Astros vs. Rockies, SAME SEATS.
(flame me if you want, but I'm an Astros fan - have been since high school...)
Not too bad, eh? All I got her for her birthday was a pearl necklace."Have fun, get a flyrod, and give the worm dunkers the finger when you start double hauling." ~Lumpy

Pearl necklaces are always good ideas. I gave one to my girlfriend (now just friend) last summer and not even her parents gave her anything that nice. Needless to say, giving pearls as gifts puts you in their good graces. So I advise you wait until you screw up or want to go on a weekend long fishing/drinking trip while she takes care of the kid. Just a thought.

nice, but i'd take seats in section 315 or 316 (you can move wherever you want to that high up, so it really doesnt matter).
yep, its a bit high, but you get to watch the sunset over the mountains and baseball at the same time.
and i'll be up from Houston for fridays game, but gotta close down loveland saturday and sunday.TGR forums cannot handle SkiCougar !

That's just silly. The Marlins unloaded all those other guys so they could KEEP Dontrelle, not unload him. They're not getting rid of him... what is he, 23 yrs old? Just another rumor coming out of Bawston.

its definately possible, they havent stopped talking about it on the radio. hes 25 yrs old and we would prolly give up lester and another big prospect, like pena. i like the rumor, our pitching is getting old. schilling, wake, wells, even clement is hitting his mid 30s. not sure why the marlins would do it tho.
