I don't think I've ever heard of that Black Arts bottle - will keep my eyes open now though. Sounds very intruiging.

My current Islay lineup is 4 of those (Ardbeg, Laphroig, Caol Ila, Lagavulin) plus a Bowmore 12. Poured some Oogy last night-
    man, that’s nice.

I agree that I like a strongly flavored Islay more than anything, but I still enjoy variety.

Oogy is just so fucking good. That and Kilchoman are among my very favorite bottles. Highly recommend Kilchoman if you haven't tried it yet.

Sadly, I finished off the Caol Isle 18 given to me a few years ago, but I still have these for when the mood hits me.

Sadly the Signet is almost gone, but I have almost 2 bottles of HP, so I am covered for awhile.

I saw a bottle of Black Arts on clearance at Sam's Club of all places a few months ago. I went back to the store a few days later to pick it up after I realized that was a good price and it was gone. A definite missed opportunity.

I started dating this girl in the fall of 2011 and she bought me this 3 year old scotch as a Christmas gift that year - we're still together today of course

Friend passed away and his wife gave me 3.5 gallons of scotch. Its in plastic handles so I'm sure it's quality stuff. I think it is Scoresby.

Her description was he drank for effect, not for taste, LOL.

I haven't tasted it yet. Was going to re-gift to some scotch connoisseurs.

This is the same fellow that tooled around in a Malibu converted over to a turbo-prop. Drinking $30/handle scotch.

If you want something a little more exotic than Scoresby

    Tasting notes:

Colour - chronic urinary tract infection

    Nose - burning garbage

Palate - leaded gasoline with hints of mercury and jenkem

Finish - a sense of invincibility versus your enemies

I got a batch strength Tamdhu last weekend. An overproof sherry bomb is a nice change of pace now and then.
