Defiantly gape friendly. The bottom can get boney in a hurry if it’s been warm.

    No.

Kya lives 10 minutes from Gbasin. Hit him up with a pm. Late season is usually best up there. Lot's of wind, lot's of missed storms, lot's of logs.

My dad used ski patrol there in the 70s. I remember skiing some decent snow there when I was a kid. Too bad the road to get there was so dangerous. I still cant believe they used to drive big greyhound bus types up that road. Such a shame the placed closed.
Backcountry there is good as long as you watch out for the creek at the bottom of the runs.

I remember skiing there when I was about 10 or so in a pretty good snowstorm. Skied off of squaretop mtn in 95 or 96, which is right next to it and has a good view of Bierstadt and Evans.
