Feb 26th I am going to be around Milwaukee. I will have both the Bros(albeit superstiff model) and Baby Bros(stiff & soft). Place to ski to be determined by interest. I am open to any place around a 1 hr drive from Milwaukee.

Mar 4&5 I will be around Banff possibly Jasper. Going to ski Louise because I have a free tic on the 4th. Not sure the other day where I will be yet. Anyone around want to try the ski's out let me know and we can meet or whatever.

Not really much to ski within 1 hour of Milwaukee. If you go a little farther you'll have Devils Head, Cascade Mountain, and Tyrol Basin (90-120 minutes).

If you want to stay within an hour, go north to Sunburst. Going south to Alpine Valley or Wilmot is basically asking to have your skis stolen by FIBs.

Haven't heard those names in awhile. Tyrol's $7 Tuesday night lift tickets were AWESOME. That is, if you consider 6 icy slopes awesome. When there's nothing better around, I do.

I wouldnt mind trying em out to see what the fuss is about, might be at sunshine on the 5th....but I have a strange feeling im supposed to be in vancouver that weekend, ill post when I find out.

Tyrol's now $10 dollar Tuesdays still rock. The bar there kicks ass and the giant bottle of pepper vodka makes a wicked bloody mary to accompany the jumbo shrimp they put on the rim of the glass. West of Madison will be your best bet for skiing-either Cascade or Devils Head. If you want to get some laps in go to Cascade as it has the detachable quad and is right on 94 so it is easy to get to from Milwaukee.

The ten dollar Tuesday is nice. Ski for a couple of hours and drive thirty minutes to get home. Not bad.

I am very interested in the 179, and have lately been spending a lot of time thinking if I would want soft vs. stiff. This would be the perfect opportunity for me to find out!
