In Hanover NH right now it is snowing pretty hard. About an inch on the ground and still falling. We are looking north for skiing this weekend. Currently deciding between the triumvirate of Stowe, Smuggs, and Jay. Each of which has recieved 12+ this week in addition to whatever else they get in the next day or 2. I would love to do Smuggs but from down here its as far as Jay to drive to:/

I skied some lines in the notch yesterday and there was about 6 inches of fresh in spots. But we have lost a lot of base. Stuff is begining to poke back up again that was not there last week before the warm snap. Smugs reported another 3 inches last night so things are kind of shaping up again out in the tree at least. In bounds is a whole different story.

So my post will melt the existing snowfall from the week. Retroactive jinx?

Seriously, y'all think things can get worse? They can't. Though an apocolyptic frog storm might just come as a result of this thread I suppose...

[/anti-jinx] just to be safe. For Likwid.

Just left Stowe, it was snowing as of 12:30. Big flakes and lots of them. Yesterday was great, today wasn't terrible and here's hoping for tomorrow- NWS is saying 1-3 for Stowe village tonight.....

Post I wish I had better pics, but...

...this is my skin track up the Sherburne this morning.

By the time I got to the bottom of the bowl in Tucks, it was socked in hard and snowing big time so I did not go up any higher. The ski out the Sherbie was pretty good, all things considered. Snow on the upper part was over the flat part of my boot. There was an inch on the car at the bottom. When I left North Conway about an 2 hours later there was an honest 4" at my folks house and it was still snowing. Supposed to keep snowing so they say. If you are bored, I'd say it's worth the trip.

Was that this morning (Friday) or yesterday morning? If it was today, props for the dawn patrol followed by a very quick post. Wildcat is saying they picked up 4-5 inches last night. This is encouraging, to say the least.

I am getting word that Mad River got hit hard yesterday and with it snowing their today tonight and all day tomorrow no need to drive to Jay anymore, cause its all good! Good thing too, last good day there we found some pretty sweet tree lines that I wanted to hit again and I was scared that might be it for the year.
