Japan sucks, theres no snow here, please dont come, you will be dissapointed. Really, it never snows here

At the rate we are going maybe 18-20meters of snow this season. Average is about 15-17 depending on the location. One of the snowiest places on planet. Niseko is flat but it has really dry powder. When I lived there you couldnt make a snowball from Dec-late Feb/early March.

Another day, another foot of fresh, during the day it was snowing at over 15 cm per hour - amazing day today. More snow forecast for tomorrow too.

    And again:

    Ev, coming in hot.

Two mates went down yesterday, one ruptured medial ligament (drinking accident) and the other possible fractured wrist (skiing accident).

    Well, that's too bad.

Anyway, great pics. I'm really inspired.

Do you have to know Japanese to do a ski trip there? What's the scoop with back/sidecountry?
