10:45pm: Get call from telephil that road to LCC will close at midnight
10:47pm: Begin to pack shit to make kamakazie run up the canyon and beat the closure.

11:15pm: Leave phUnk's hoping to beat the closure and "accidentally" get stuck at the Peruvian when interlodge takes effect at 1:00am

12/26

12:10am: Get to the Peruvian, begin scouting good places to crash and kill time until interlodge. We are so money.

12:45am: Get caught setting up camp in a dark corner of the TV room by the Peruvian's decrepit old bastard security guard. He threatens to call the marshall and have us arrested. We begin to make alternate plans.

12:55am: Thanks to some super cool peruvian employees and our super smooveness, we score a room at the Peruvian for $20. We are still so money.

7:30am: Wake up, put on gear begin waiting patiently for interlodge to lift so we can ski sick pow.

10:00am: Still waiting for interlodge to lift.

11:00am: Still waiting for interlodge to lift.

12:00pm: Still waiting for interlodge to lift.

1:00pm: Still waiting for interlodge to lift.

2:00pm: Still waiting for interlodge to lift.

2:30pm: Patrol offically announces that the mountain will not open and interlodge will remain in effect through the night. We are so not money.

4:00pm: Thanks to some more smooveness, and the bag of high quality MJ that I kicked the employees who hooked us up the night before, we score another room for $20 and permission to poach meals at our leisure.

7:15am: Wake up, put on gear, pack shit.

7:45am: Poach breakfast, wait for interlodge to lift.

9:35am: Interlodge lifts, mad rush ensues.

9:45am to 2:30pm: Choke on pow We are so money.

This was yesterday at The Canyons while the sun poked out for about 5 minutes. The unreal thing about this photo is that it was taken on a shot I haven't skied in 4 years due to lack of snow. It isn't lacking now.

One of the South Slopes going up Condor? Very niiiiiiice!

Nice guess, but not S. Side Condor. It was taken off the "nose" on Saddleback. It's that little South facing slope that you pass about 1/3 of the way up the lift. Last year I think I remember seeing one or two tracks in there, but it was sketchy at best.
