But are there more tree wells in the side country or the slack country? How much does it depend on where in Washington you are??

Maybe it is entered by exiting a backcountry gate or ducking a rope closure

So….
Not sure where to post.
Going out the gates with three men with packs and one woman with a beacon.
Patrol got aggro. Solo dude passed me saying “dude everyone needs a pack”
Pwnd the solo dude at the top. Who’s going to rescue you? Me? Not you.
I’m all for safety. But having a tourist with a beacon in the middle and two people with gear sweeping is wayyy safer than solo riding
Am I stoopid? Yes. At times. But private guiding with experienced back slack country riders seems safe to me.
The hired guides here often travel one guide to three tourists. Is that safe? Can any of those newbs use a beacon?Kill all the telemarkers
But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers
Telemarketers! Kill the telemarketers!
Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason
