ok JONG nice pics but you do realize that posting panoramas turns into one giant pain in the ass on here, right?

with that heres a couple of mine.

on the trail coming back from the Dufourspitze in CH (from left to right with nordend, dufour [with a small cloud covering the summit], liskamm, castor, pollux, breithorn, klein matterhorn, matterhorn, dent blanche just peaking out... Dufour is actually the highest of all the peaks but doesnt seem that way because if is farther back, the breithorn seems extremely big and high but in reality is not any greater than the other mountains around it).

and camp two on the tahoma glacier of rainier.

Nice Hucksquaw...now I really feel like my pic drank too much whiskey and was submerged in cold water.

Hucksquaw - I know but i thought confining the spillage to one thread would be ok. After all what can you expect when you open up a thread titled "panoramas"?

Just trying to get the mindset going for the ski season

These aren't mine, and the site won't allow me to link to the images directly, but some really cool ones on http://www.turns-all-year.com.

Here's one showing Mt. Shuksan and part of the Mt. Baker ski area and backcountry:

Those are all some lovely pictures - with some of them I felt (almost) like I was standing on the mountain in question, looking out over the view. Stoked.
This touchy-feely Kumbaya shit has got to go.
