Heras suspended for EPO during Vuelta
Sad cycling news: "Spanish rider Roberto Heras, four-time winner of the Vuelta a Espana, has been suspended by his Liberty Seguros team following a non-negative A sample test for EPO from stage 20 of the the 2005 Vuelta."
We're running out of heros. I wonder if the guy who bought Heras' winning bike on eBay for 24,600 Euros will want a refund?

It's only the A sample so the wait begins. I am surpirsed that they suspended him now, what happens if the B sample comes back negative? Will they welcome him back and will he be happy to come back, thiscould be the start of some bad blood (no pun intended).
Edit I read the second article and LS does support his innocence and felt pressure to suspend him after news leaks.Last edited by weibo; 11-08-2005 at 08:39 AM.

Isnt news like this supposed to be kept confidential until the other sample clears?
There is so much media bullshit in cycling now, it really pisses me off.
