Close to the truth--Marcus Welby (Robert Young) was the speaker at my med school graduation. The class voted for Jane Fonda but the deans turned us down because politics. I don't remember a word he said, I was way too stoned to pay attention. Probably something along the lines of "you can make a lot more money playing a doctor on TV than being a real one."
