TR: Snow snakes and face shots - Loveland pass - 10/10/2005
iskibc, PowderPig, Evil E, BlurredElevens, SheRa
I met up with iski at 4.15 in Golden. We arrived 5.40 at Loveland pass summit where the snow was coming down hard and the wind was howling.
iski couldn't wait to get going, so he lapped a small feature near the parking lot a few times
Sometimes it was hard to see anything up there...
Evil E, SheRa, and BlurredElevens arrived after a while. We were anxious to see what the skiing would be like in the trees so after a short chat we went for it...
Blurred hitting the pow
Blurred getting some nice turns in the trees
Of course, sometimes something unexpected comes up in front of you and the emergency brake needs to be pulled... Blurred pulling it:
Evil E launching off a small rock
iski and the study of a face shot
iski passing by...
...and launching
Evil E and the study of tree skiing
iski in the trees again
Everything comes to an end and work awaits after a drive back on I70...

Holy shit - sweetness. Strangely, I, too, love the I-70 shot.

Thanks for the call at work guys. I really enjoyed hearing iskibc and PowderPig giggling like school kids in the car as I prepared TPS reports.
Bastards!
I am so in the market for a new job. Cube land is just not cutting it.
Way to get after it and I am so stoked for new snow and all the turns to come.

Dude. Sick. Those airs are like 30-feet minimum. It's so cool to get 50-degree tree shots in October.
(j/k nice work, all)
