I make my wife laugh. A lot. I think she's usually laughing at me rather than with me, but it works out. My exotic tin-foil underwear collection doesn't hurt either.

Work hard. Realize that you're a team and you do what's best for the team (sometimes means not going skiing). It's easy to put their well-being above yours if you really care about that person.

Also encouragement. Other day riding I helped Mrs. Frizzo pick her way down a slightly narsty line. She didn't think she could do it; I knew she could. Was surprised how stoked she was afterwards. She's pushed me, too, which is cool.

Be attentive. Do the dishes. Snuggle. Etcetera.

this is very true. in fact, i would posit that they are exact opposite. being an elusive, hard-to-get, disinterested dick at just the right times gets you in the door. ditching that and being all of the above after keeps you inside.
