Ok Altachic- for those of us girls who have yet to find such a wonderful catch and are starting to get a little pissed off with all the jackasses that we seem to attract like flies...please tell us what a wonderful and perfect boyfriend might look like...I think that dedicated skier chicks may have a different version of this and I am curious to hear about it.

Ever try a rat? Perhaps not the best skiers, but then that doesn't seem to be your most important criterion...

Nope, just the ones that go looking for women. The good ones are the ones that you probably overlook because they aren't out trying to draw attention to themselves. Go find one of the shy, nice guys and draw him out, you might be surprised (hell, I know I would be if someone tried it with me).

No, not really, just looking for the right person. I'm actually more comfortable with my present (and interminable) single status than I've been for a very long time.

This girl wants to know. Being single is cool and all, but seriously....

Do I ski too much? Spend too much time on the mountain?

    Curious minds want to know...
From my personal experience too much time at an activity can be an issue. For 10 years I went whitewater kayaking about every weekend, and my dating life was terrible. I was so addicted to paddling that I let my love life slide a bit too much. It is tough to realize it when you like to do something so much. Once I met a girl that lasted more than 2 dates (my wife), paddling was a strain on the relationship for a few years.

Getting her paddling skills up to mine was not happening. In the end, I quit paddling (not just becuase of my wife, but it was a factor). I now ski and rock climb with my wife - though I do get a few ski trips solo - she is cool about that, and I love her for it.

Altachic may be onto something...boys who rip AND wear full faces are on my list of wishes...work in someone who is honest, communicates, has at least half a brain and some sort of ambition, isn't married engaged and/or attached, and likes girls who chew and can keep up...then we MIGHT be getting closer. In the meantime, there is still about 3 weeks of season left and I think I will be ok till then.
    Thanks for the input kids....
